Justice Buras has been involved with instrumental music for many years involving both performing and teaching. He received his bachelors of Music Education in Instrumental Music, focusing on Oboe and Clarinet, from Loyola University of New Orleans where he performed with the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Band and Symphony. He attended University of Southern Mississippi where earned a Masters of Education in Administration. Justice currently teaches Band and General Music at Abita Springs Middle School and has served as a guest conductor for summer programs like The Premieres. He has performed with various groups such as the Riverside Performing Arts and Crescent City Big Band; and he has even been able to perform with artists such as Harry Connick Sr. and Jr. Many of his current and former students have been accepted into various honor groups such as All-State Honor Band and Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra, and have received awards and scholarships.
